Silly me!

For the Aug. 11 hike, we decided to beat the heat and go to the beach. I told everyone to meet at the Korean Peace Bell in San Pedro.

Well! Imagine my embarrassment when I pulled up and discovered that my memory had tricked me. It isn't a Peace Bell at all...It's a Friendship Bell!

Silly me, confusing friendship with peace.

Everybody found it and we had quite a nice hike.
